The work Impulses of the Danube presents a sound eco-map of the Danube, in the form of an in-site audio-visual installation in a space where the user, traveling through different locations on the river bank, gets to know the environment and the space. Using authentic sound recordings of the Danube flow through Vojvodina, Tijana Jevrić singles out the most impressive and ecologically - biologically diverse locations on the river bank. The material she uses are original sound recordings. Those sounds are then transformed into a visual experience, i.e. graphic representations of water waves. The work is designed as a database of specific places and moments.
